The GE PJ1 serves as both a digital camera and a projector. It can be used to project just-taken pictures or it can be used in conjunction with the supplied cables and software to project the contents of a computer screen. The problem is that it can't...

All up, the GE PJ1 is a novel product, but it's not very useful. It doesn't excel as a camera, and it certainly doesn't excel as a projector. For business presentations, you're better off having people crowd around your laptop rather than trying to use...

GE PJ1

 

Projector is bright. Punchy images when shooting on a sunny day.

Lens is not protected. Projector is not plug-and-play with a computer, and not particularly sharp. Images not particularly sharp at full extent of the optical zoom. Bad video quality.

While the PJ1 packs a tasty projector in its slim chassis, it's simply not sharp enough for serious boardroom use.
