Powerful and stylish stereo receiver.

Powerful, clean amplification, great looks

No universal remote

If you need a powerful stereo audio receiver, then look no further than the HK 3490. Teamed up with some capable floor-standing speakers it’s able to reproduce high-quality audio with no flaws whatsoever.

The harman/kardon HK 3490 redefined the modern stereo receiver and set the benchmark for others to follow. Stereo lovers rejoice as I don't believe you can find a better sounding stereo receiver.

The remote...... Why, oh why, does the selection of fm progs 1, 2 & 3 either require '01' 02'or '03'else have to hold the button down for 5seconds? Infuriating! And why not a proper universal type? A little extra for such would not break the bank!
