This little scanner is great. Bluetooth setup is a breeze (our older LS4278 scanners were a pain since we had to use a lot of configuration barcodes to set up the pairing). All you have to do with these - if you buy the Bluetooth model - is hold down...

Nice unit apart from this software flaw. Encountered resistance from Motorola, denied the problem at first, then it became apparent that they had not fully tested the software. I regret this purchase as it cannot be used for the intended application.
Unit works well in HID (keyboard emulation) mode. It sleeps to conserve battery power and automatically reconnects to host when either it or the host awakes.
Unit does not function properly in SPP (serial port emulation) mode. Upon sleeping, it loses connection with host and does not automatically reconnect upon awaking. Must be manually reconnected and sometimes re-paired as well. Raised the issue with...
