Epson WorkForce DS-30

The Epson WorkForce DS-30 Portable Scanner mostly stays with basics, but can send scans to the cloud.

Small. Light. Inexpensive. Gets power over USB cable. Can send files to Microsoft SharePoint, EverNote, and Google Docs.

Simplex (one-sided) scans only. Manual feed only.

Great.

I wanted a small scanner that I could carry around, but didn't need it to be battery -powered, and I didn't want it to record to an SD card. I wanted to plug it into my computer, power it by USB, and have it just work, downloading scanned docs directly...

Very easy to use. Very good copies. Good document feed. "Just works" on my Mac. (An extra click is required to start up the driver.) No issues whatsoever. I thought the price was quite good, considering how good this device is.

Really, I've not encountered any.

really handy for a road warrior like me. I really like to do as little paperwork at home as possible. this device makes me much more efficient on the road.
