Nothing wrong with this scanner for the price. It does an adequate job. Received it as a gift so I could send my parents pictures of the grandkids before I had a digital camera. It's great for sending old photos to friends (incriminating mullet, speedo...
Easy to use. Good image quality
Slow to warm up when performing scan

This is a great scanner, especially for the price. I received this scanner for Christmas from my boyfriend. When I saw the box, I was a little skeptical of the quality, because I know there are scanners more expensive than this one. But I was...
great resolution, affordable price
a bit slow

A few months ago I decided to upgrade my current pc to Windows XP. Unfornately my scanner wasn't compatible with Xp. It worked great and my parents probably paid around $200.00 for it back in 1997. It had a long life and hated to get rid of it. I sold...

When I was looking for a scanner, I wanted it to be affordable, easy to use and it should produce great results. At first I was going to buy an Epson scanner, because of the quality of the image reproduction, but I find it rather on the expensive...
Affordable, easy setup, control panel, cable included.
Mediocre support and warranty, middling image reproduction, slow scanning and more.

My upgrade to Windows XP home prompted this purchase. I had been using a UMAX 1220P that, unfortunately doesn't have XP drivers available. I was pleasantly surprised that the install CD that was packed with the 2200 already had the latest XP drivers....
Easy to set up and inexpensive
Slow (but comparable to other scanners in this price range)

I bought the hp scanjet 2200c just last month at Walmart. I was pleased to find this brand and this quality available to me at Walmart. I was also please to find that upon opening the box that usb cables were included. Most scanners do not.
Techy, comes with own usb cable, easy to set up.
Directions kind of hard to uunderstand,
