The HP Scanjet G3110 is a neat looking photo scanner at a good price, but it's slow to scan and may have a driver glitch.
Straight to PDF scan ; Quick OCR conversion ; Colour restoration and dust removal
Slow scans, even for price ; Driver installation glitch ; OCR not that accurate
The driver offers comprehensive control of the scanner, and includes colour correction plus dust and scratch removal. Both of these are reasonably effective, though not up to the standard of applications like Digital ICE.

The HP Scanjet G3110 Photo Scanner is fine for scanning photo prints, but scanning is slow, especially with strips of film and slides.
Does a reasonably good job with photographic prints. Convenience scanning for slides and strips of film.
Slow. Customizing settings is cumbersome.

The Best value Flat Bed Scanner for Top Brand.
The Drivers supplied in the Box did not work with Windows 7. Downloated the latest drivers from HP.COM fixed the problem. It wasted two hours to investigate the problem.
