Wyze Labs' outdoor plug offers additional features its indoor model (and competitors) don't have—and it beats the competition on price, too.

The plug has features that more expensive options are lacking, and it worked perfectly well in my testing. That said, even if it did have some hiccups I’d still have no trouble recommending it—even at its current MSRP.

Under $20 with shipping. Built-in light sensor lets you automate based on time of day. Smooth setup with the Wyze app, which is pretty good in the grand scheme of smart home apps. Support for both Assistant and Alexa.
The plug covers could be easy to lose. Apple smart home people need not apply.
