Scout Video Doorbell review: More bells and whistles than you might expect for the price

Scout doesn't pack every important feature into its video doorbell, nor would you expect it to for the price, but it does have some nifty features.

People detection works very well ; Excellent picture and sound quality ; Very easy to install

App lags during two-way communication and, at times, when viewing video feeds ; No extra backplates to accommodate angled walls ; Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant integration remain in development
