An excellent camera, clever people tracking technology and lots of video service support make the Facebook Portal Go great for calls
Excellent video quality ; Clever video tracking ; Most video services are supported ; Clear audio
Poor integrated voice assistant ; Not much use outside of video calls

A smart display that you can take on the go
Camera ensures you’re alway in the center of the frame ; Battery-powered with built-in handle ; Choice of Alexa or Facebook’s own voice assistant
Facebook’s voice assistant isn’t as capable as Alexa ; No support for Netflix ; Can’t issue audible recipe instructions

A more portable smart video calling device in the Portal range, with a different form-factor for convenient conversations with loved-ones.
Portable design ; Convenient charging ; Large and clear screen
Struggles with some lighting situations ; Slanted design means putting it on a bookshelf is an issue
A more portable smart video calling device in Facebook's Portal range, with a different form-factor for convenient conversations with loved-ones.

If you want a kid-friendly screen you can easily move around the house, Portal Go is it—but it doesn't have parental controls.
Big display, great speakers, battery power makes it easy to move around the house.
