Honeywell Evohome

The most powerful, but most expensive smart thermostat available

Most comprehensive smart heating solution ; Zones allow incredibly granular control ; Powerful mobile app

Costs rise rapidly with multiple zones ; Manual scheduling process, no smart learning ; No control via web browser

The Honeywell Evohome is the Rolls Royce of smart thermostats, but that metaphor applies to cost as well as performance. Small flats can expect to pay around £500 and bigger homes around £1,000, but if you can stomach that you are buying a far more...

The ultimate smart home heating system for control freaks

Gives you god-like power ; Avoids heating empty rooms ; Handy switchable schedules ; All easily controlled from the app

Price soon adds up with valves and installation ; Not as clever as Tado

A solid smart heating option that offers complete control over every room

Honeywell Evohome review

There are a number of companies vying for your business when it comes to controlling your heating system at home. British Gas has Hive, Google owns Nest in the US (which is expected to eventually come to the UK), and there's the German company Tado...

Zone the heating in your house, smartphone support, schedule everything down to the minute, control everything to within half a degree

Smartphone app isn't as powerful as it should be, it's more expensive than the competition

Honeywell Evohome is a very clever heating system upgrade, there's no doubt about it.

Honeywell Evohome review: The best smart thermostat you can buy

It's expensive to install, but this is a powerful and flexible room-by-room heating system

Flexible configuration ; Brilliantly simple touchscreen controller ; Will save you money in the long term

Expensive initial payment ; Design could be more attractive

There’s no doubting that Evohome is expensive, but it’s the only system designed from the ground up to give room-by-room control. For the ultimate flexibility, then, it’s the best system to buy, and it will ultimately save you more money on running costs.

Honeywell EvoHome review

Control the temperature in each room with this smart heating system

EvoHome is the best smart heating system we've tested. However, it isn't perfect and it's also very expensive, or can be. But if you value convenience and comfort above saving money, it's the one to buy.
