The Pebble Time is the sequel to what was, it's fair to say, the world's first successful smartwatch. Pebble's original wearable broke records on Kickstarter and became a poster child for crowdfunding, but it was far from perfect. It felt cheap, looked...
Timeline works well ; Impressive battery life ; Always-on clock ; Waterproof to 30m
Feels cheap ; Dodgy buttons ; Limited iOS features ; Childish animations

For those who want a simple, clean, slightly smart smartwatch
Color e-paper display ; Timeline is snappy ; Impressive battery life ; Comfy
Overall buggy UI ; Too much bezel ; Feels cheaply made ; Lacks impressive features
As a successor to the Pebble, the Pebble Time excels. As a smartwatch on its own, it feels like a digital watch with some extra tricks.

It's geeky, charming and has an impressive 5-day battery life
Excellent battery life ; Unashamedly geeky ; Comfortable
Looks outdated next to rivals ; Large bezel could bother some

When Pebble announced its second-generation smartwatch it became the most successful Kickstarter project ever, smashing all records and reaping $1 million in just 30 minutes of the funding round starting. The Pebble Time is a highly versatile device...
Full colour e-paper screen (albeit 64 colours to play with), up to seven days battery life, lightweight design, simple in operation, waterproof to 30 metres, works with both iOS and Android
Cannot filter notifications – it’s all or nothing, microphone and voice functionality is underutilised, backlight is too dim, plasticky finish for the price
The Pebble Time is a highly versatile device that is the product of experience, one that gets the fundamental basics right. It's small and comfortable-to-wear footprint delivers unparalleled battery life, while a vast selection of watchfaces and...

The Pebble Time is nearly a year old, and now that it's gone down in price its simplistic yet accomplished charm is easier to recommend.
The Pebble Time is a good smartwatch, made all the more attractive by its price. It is probably the least you can spend on a fully-fledged (there's some cheap tat out there) smartwatch, costing as it does the same as some high-end activity trackers. If...

A smartwatch... but for women?
Nice looking ; Lightweight ; Easy to use
Overwhelming bezel ; Two-day battery life ; Can’t really do anything without a phone
The Pebble Time Round is svelte enough and looks the part, but doesn’t do all that much

Pebble Time Steel Review: This all-new stainless steel version of the Pebble Time watch promises extended battery life. But is it better than the original?
More grown-up design ; Choice of bands ; Longer battery life
Thick bezels ; Same iffy notifications
The Pebble Time Steel is £50 more than the original Pebble Time (which costs just £179) and for that price you get a more grown-up design and even better battery life..

Pebble blasts its way into the future with… a 64-colour screen
It’s way too easy to scratch, but great battery life and a simple UI make this a dream to live with.

Pebble Time review: Pebble's latest e-ink smartwatch boasts all-week battery life and a colourful new screen, but is it the perfect Android and iOS wearable?...
Colourful screen ; Great battery life ; Plenty of apps
Iffy notifications
The Pebble Time is a really good all-purpose smartwatch that has two main advantages over most other wearables. Namely, it can connect to both iOS and Android handsets and it has really good battery life..
Expert review by : Scott Stein (cnet.co.uk)
Scott Stein wore the Pebble Time for a week: here's his full review.
Always-on reflective color display; water resistant for showers or swimming; battery life lasts more than three days between charges; added storage holds dozens of apps and watch faces; works with iPhones and Android phones; most apps are free.
Display sometimes hard to read in dim light; fitness apps aren't as polished as on other premium smartwatches; apps and watch faces are plentiful but very mixed in quality; lack of touchscreen limits interactivity with some apps.
The Pebble Time adds a few key improvements and a color screen compared to previous Pebble watches, but owners of previous Pebble watches may not see a need to upgrade yet.
