Withings is no stranger to beautiful design. Its original Activité fitness tracker was one of the most wearable wearables of 2015 , which is probably why the cheaper Activité Pop and newer mid-level Activité Steel both adopt a similar design. The...
Great design, good Health Mate app, step-tracking and distance accurate, colour options for strap, premium build, great for the price
No heart-rate sensor, no altimeter, automatic exercise detection doesn't always work, face a little fussier than previous models
The Activité Steel is another beautiful and well-made activity tracker from Withings. For the £180 saving compared to the original Activité , you do have to make a couple of compromises - but that's to be expected. There's no sapphire glass, no leather...

An analogue watch with a step counter. Yes analogue I do hope younger children are still taught to read a watch rather than rely on digital timepieces. This is a very smart looking offering with a circular dial and absolutely no buttons.
The Withings Activate Steel Black is available from the link below for £139.95 with free delivery.

Beautiful, inexpensive activity tracking with one major flaw.
Stunningly elegant design ; Accurate fitness tracking ; Amazing battery lifePREVIOUS ARTICLEMoto 360 (2015) review: The same mistakes 12 months onMore from Tech WearablesHands-on with Casio's rugged Android Wear watch
Hard to read the time in the dark ; Time markings are too dull ; Glass a little reflective

Don't be fooled its the lower price tag: There's nothing the premium Activité can do that the less expensive Pop can't. There aren't any high-end materials here, but the end result is a wearable that looks great, tracks steps with ease and won't make...
Beautiful design and materials ; Step counter works well ; Easy-to-understand user interface
Hefty price tag ; Companion app lacks polish ; Limited functionality
I love the Activité, but man is it a hard sell sometimes. If we take a moment to zoom out, it's exactly the sort of wearable I think people -- regular people -- would embrace. It's simple -- elegant, even. You can set it up through your phone and, in...

If you want an elegant, waterproof timepiece that tracks very basic fitness stats, the Withings Activite Steel could be your watch. But runners and more serious athletes will want something more robust.

Analog watch meets activity tracker in this fashionable, affordable addition to the Withings Activité lineup.
Affordably stylish ; Great app that gathers activity, sleep patterns, and calorie logs in one central place
Band isn’t the highest quality ; May be too small for some wrists
The Withings Activité Steel is a sleek fitness tracker masquerading as an analog watch, but could use more band options.

Withings Activité Steel follows on the footsteps of original Activité paired with the price of Activité Pop.

The Activité Steel is a great looking watch, but how does it stack up against other fitness trackers out there? Find out in our full Withings Activité Steel review!
Amazing battery life ; Beautiful design ; Comfortable to wear all day ; Affordable price ; Waterproof
One size may not fit all ; Companion app isn't very intuitive ; Limited in functionality
If you hate the look of fitness trackers and want to keep an eye on your daily activity, you should definitely check out the Withings Activité Steel. It's accurate, elegant and inexpensive, which are three key things many other wearables can't say for...
Expert review by : Chance Kinney (chipchick.com)
With their Activité line of fitness trackers, Withings has taken a very different sort of approach toward wrist-worn wearables. Rather than rely on LCD or e paper displays, Withings has instead built regular, stylish analog watches first, adding light...

If you want a fitness tracker that doesn't look like a fitness tracker, the Withings Activité Steel is your best bet. Although it costs just $179, it looks like a much more expensive timepiece, and still does a good job of monitoring your daily steps,...
Attractive ; Automatic sleep tracking ; Long battery life
No heart rate tracking
If you want a fitness tracker that looks like a real watch and you don't need heart rate tracking, the Withings Activité Steel is the one to get.
