The Mi Band 2 is the latest wearable fitness tracker from Chinese hardware giant Xiaomi. It follows the cheap but feature-rich Mi Band and Mi Band 1S and introduces a screen for the first time in the range, as well as improved pedometer tech, which...
Great to look at and packed with features, the Mi Band 2 is one of the best-value fitness trackers money can buy.

There's a lot to like about Xiaomi's latest fitness tracker
Comprehensive suite of features ; Stand-out battery life ; Cheaper than just about everything else
Tracking isn't the ultimate in accuracy ; Better-looking trackers are out there ; No integrated GPS
An excellent fitness tracker from Xiaomi, which combines a host of useful features with the standard tracking metrics at a really, really good price. On top of all that, the battery life is great, and the tracker is comfortable and lightweight to wear.

With the Xiaomi's Mi Band 2, the Chinese company updates its original $13 fitness tracker with a slightly more expensive version, adding new features such as an 0.42-inch OLED display and a heart rate sensor. The 149 yuan price, which converts to...
The Mi Band 2 is absurdly affordable despite packing in a heart rate sensor, sleep tracking, water resistance and a battery life of a week.
The fitness band doesn't offer the exercise tracking that would make it a perfect accessory.
If you just want a basic fitness tracker for walking, the Mi Band 2 does the job fine, but you'll have to look towards more expensive trackers if you want more features.

You won't see this fitness tracker in your local department store - in the UK, the Xiaomi MiBand 2 is only available online. It's cheap and has a built-in heart rate monitor, but is it worth seeking out this fitness tracker? We put it to the test to...

There's a plethora of fitness trackers out on the market, but none came even close to the bargain priced Xiaomi's Mi Band, when it launched in 2014 when it came down to bang for buck. Just a year after the release of the original Mi Band, Xiaomi...
Priced at just RMB149, the Mi Band 2 is within reach of just about everyone and will provide beginners to fitness trackers everything they will look for. Initial reservations of the shorter battery life of the Mi Band 2 over its predecessors were...

A robust little thing that'll measure your heart rate and steps reliably whilst also notifying you of texts, emails and more. Even with all the notification stuff enabled, I found it to have a great battery life.
Gotta say, I really can’t see what’s not to like here. The price is good, the build and the design is good. It’ll measure your pulse. It watches your movement, checks your sleep patterns and tells you off when you’re sat on the sofa doing nothing if...

The Mi Band 2 manages to offer features normally found on more expensive fitness trackers at a fraction of the cost...but you get what you pay for.

Low-cost tracker. A fitness wristband for roughly 20 Euros (~$22) with OLED panel, heart-rate monitor, IP67 certification and a battery life of over 20 days? The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi makes it possible. We tested Xiaomi's Mi Band 2 and report how...
price, very long battery life, OLED panel, comfortable to wear, IP67 certificate
unreliable heart-rate measuring, screen brightness could be higher, availability
Xiaomi's second generation of the Mi Band lineup convinced in our test with its strong price-performance package and comfort in wear. Compared with fitness wristbands from other manufacturers, the Mi Band 2's purchase price is low, and it even offers...

The Mi Band 2 from Xiaomi is a reasonably priced fitness tracker that does the basics really well. Check out our full Mi Band 2 review!
Most fitness trackers look pretty similar and the Mi Band 2 doesn’t stray too far from the fold in that regard. The wrist strap is made from a black rubber similar to the Apple Watch Sport and has a metal push nub that holds the strap on. The Mi Band 2...
