Best $110.00 I ever spent will probably never buy another hard drive that is not an SSD! Highly recommend this drive!
Brought new life to an aging laptop. Boot up time went from 2 minutes plus to less than 30 seconds! Before installing SSD it seemed that the HD light was always on - no more with this SSD.
None so far.

So yourself a BIG favor and buy a Samsung which I wanted to buy in the first place (I got attracted by the lower price of the Crucial one) but in the end you get what you paid for.
Decent speed nothing out of the extraordinary while is working.
My PC started to have BSODs almost every day; slowly moving to the moment when Windows so nicely asked me "You need to format disk C: in order to use it". Obviously the PC was not able to restart after reboot. Tried different Live distributions (Puppy...

- Would recommend 10/10
- Good looking, sleek and easy to install - FAST, not the absolute best in the SSD market but you can't beat these for the price, especially on a budget build that you still want to make FAST
- Connectors feel a little flimsy, but if you're not already gentle with your components, you should probably just buy a pre-built.

When its working its really fast
I blame the company for getting cheap and not packing the product properly. They are not using anti static bags anymore. I called a tech and he admitted that the higher ups decided not to use em. The product had some really odd intermittent issues that...

The SSD's were part of rebuild, where one will hold Win 7 Pro and the other Centos 6.7. Both are attached to a ASUS Z170M-PLUS LGA 1151 Intel Z170, with both registering fine in BIOS and in both Win7 and Linux. The SSD's are installed in a ICY DOCK...
Far superior to any spindle drive.
Still pricey, all things considered.

Bought the sister's children Lenovo e545's used online. With a few upgraded the e545 is a great value for the money and these Crucial MX drives were essential to that effort. I am sure that these drives will outlast the laptops they are attached to and...
- Fast! Great for budget notebooks and avoiding the price hole that has developed in the notebook market. You can now start with an inexpensive laptop and make it a pro series with one of these drives - Ready for on-chip encryption (Bitlocker, for...
None actually. Have 3 of these specially and 4 Crucial MX drives in total and all are working just fine.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Never. Again. Period.
It's fast
Its a faulty drive that crashes once a week. It took me months to catch the issue. VERY unhappy about this purchase, all diagnostic tools say it's fine but it wasn't once I gave it to my tech friends it wasn't. Crucial has NO DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS!!! And...
