Consumer review (newegg.com)
This is a great value for an SSD. I will definitely be buying a few more of these for my other builds.
-Easy set up. -Solid. Quick. Responsive.

If you can find the BX100 at a good price, don't hesitate, buy it!
This SSD is very fast and very reliable. Install was quick and easy once initialized and drivers installed. I own 2 of these and they are both solid running on Windows 7 & 8.
Price!! When I bought this, it was a great deal while on sale, now the price is Much higher and you can find comparable and even better SSd's cheaper. This looses an egg because of the Very high price.

Will standard Hard drives go by the wayside and be replaced by these?, it is possible
I like that the SATA cables were easy to install into the SSD They are small and store well in my case Have not had any issues with performance quick
Nothing so far

Wouldn't recommend it, big hassle getting Crucial to replace it after it failed out of warranty period.
Price competitive
Failed after 6 months (used as OS drive, blue screens became more and more frequent)

Boot time in Yosemite went from 2 minutes to 40 seconds!
no trim support and needs Windows for firmware upgrade

Make yourself very familiar with the replacement process before starting. Gather all your tools and some hardcopy instructions. Suggest a muffin tin to separate and hold the array of screws to be removed. Be sure your Time Machine backup is available...
No special adapters needed. Doubled the memory on a Mac Mini and installed this SSD so I could run it more efficiently as a server. Significant performance increase over original hardware. Running El Capitan at the moment.
Takes a lot of patience and a light touch. Don't start this project at the end of a stressful day.

Highly.
Fast, reasonably priced, and the shipping was done well.
to no fault of new egg, the price is still high, but I really wanted to be the firct LAN gamer in my crew to have a 2.0 tbs of SSD memory.

I start to be careful or in alert for the product purchased from NewEgg.com, even I still like to buy stuff here. It has been 5 months after purchase. It is still working with often Windows frozen, so that I decide not to use it anymore. I believe that...
From usage point of view, it is just a 500GB SSD.
If using SSD tools, you can find that this SSD does not have most of standard SSD statistics information stored in the drive, such as work times, etc. So, you don't know if it is a new SSD or faked/out-of-lifespan SSD. Even shortly after the purchase,...

Easy to install. Load times decreased substantially.
None. Seems to work just as well as other brand SSDs I have purchased in the past.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I've installed four MX100 SSDs in computers in my house and never had an issue, so I've been really satisfied with Crucial SSDs. I put this BX100 into a new small form-factor Windows 10 desktop build several weeks ago and it works flawlessly. Here are...
Good price, good experience with the Crucial brand.
Mediocre performance
