Consumer review (newegg.com)
Super fast. and fast. I want another. I installed this in my new asrock z97/ac with the ultimate m.2 slot, single ftw 970, Samsung ssd and a wd black. I love the boot time. It goes like this, I need to start my computer, and its ready by the time my...
I had issues getting this ssd to be my boot drive. Its probably my basic knowledge but was able to find solutions around the web. Obviously price, expensive

This is my second submission on this item. It took a while to figure out how to install it and I was a bit frustrated at first and gave it a '4'. But it is actually a very nice installation design. I just did not see the two-part standoff screw mount...
Fast, fast, fast - and stable ; Very small footprint
Expensive. Really need a 1 TB version, but at a decent price

The M.2 slot on my Asus Z97 Deluxe motherboard only supports 2X channel speeds. It maxes out at just over 700/700 with the XP941 installed as the boot disk. My final solution was to use a Plextor 128Gb 2X channel M.2 card (690/315 Mb/s) in the...
This SSD does indeed perform up to expectations ; Specs say it is capable of up to 1170/930 Mb/s read/write speeds. I've tested the one in my system using 'AS SSD Benchmark' and get an average of 1185/860 ;
None with the card itself. Only that the M.2 standard is still relatively new and therefore has somewhat limited support. But that is improving steadily

Would of rather they made a 1TB flavor of this, would of been even better.
small, unobtrusive SSD. Did not buy it from the egg because they did not have it, got mine from Oz land. Works as a boot drive no problem on ASRock X99 Extreme 6 motherboard with Windows 7
expensive

I hope samsung increases the availability and marketing of the pcie-3.0 successor to this drive The even FASTER Samsung SM951 the first consumer home use SSD with a native pci-e 3.0 x4 controller is right on the horizon. It uses NVMe instructions...
The first drive not bottlenecked by it's interface in years. The 2GB/sec the pci-e x4 lanes give provide enough bandwidth to let this ssd fully stretch it's legs. Easily hits 1.4GB/sec ; MLC 2 bit per cell nand provides more than enough durability for...
There are always some cons as well nothing in this world is perfect. The price for this ssd isn't the greatest. Nowadays anything over 1 dollar per mg is a very premium price for a consumer home use ssd. You can easily find high performing 512GB SSD's...
