Forget Win 8.1

The Anconis web support was of no help with this problem, other than to offer to sell me their $50 software.

Nice USB to HD adapter

The "Acronis True Image HD" data transfer software included with this kit does not support Windows 8.1

Perfect Addition

Perfect addition for my desktop now turned server. Ordering another one for my new machine. Only beef i have is the snap cap doesnt stay put when opening the top door, easily fixed with some a dab of superglue!

Pretty nice!

Very easy to install and use

I wish it had a better front locking mechanism and if you want their front led lights to work, you will have to use their proprietary molex to sata cable with extra floppy power connector. Also, these don' have a place for your sata cables to "latch"....
