Best upgrade ever!

I just replaced the lousy 8 GB Intel SSD that came in my Acer Aspire One A110 netbook with this drive over the weekend, and the difference in performance has been night and day ; Everything runs SO much faster, and there are no more of the inexplicable...

The installation process was a bit of a chore -- NOT recommended for the faint of heart, as you have basically disassemble the whole computer -- but that's Acer's fault ; Not currently in stock at newegg.com, so I had to order it from someone else

Worth it!

Installing this was not quite as much work as installing the RAM module because you can get to it from the top of the board. OTOH, if you're installing this and haven't added another GB of RAM yet, you should do that at the same time. I had to pay more...

Much faster than the original 8GB module, and even faster than the hard drive in the 120GB hard drive version of the Aspire One. No noise ; Most important: Enough speed and space to load Windows 7 Home Premium

Could be even faster. (Some of the other Super Talent 32GB modules are rated faster than this one.) ; Doesn't speed up the processor! <g ; Requires disassembly of the unit to install it

wicked upgrade

Running Win7 ultimate (RC) now, no problem. Was unable to do so before. Much, much faster than the stock 16GB SSD my AcerOne came with. It is a completely different system now. I love it

no 64 or 128GB cards availalble (yet). will upgrade again if they make one of those availalble. Would love to take my entire mp3 library with me. All of them will not fit on the 32GB card
