One of the issues that caused me to swap drives was really long boot times and a quirk where if I create a new folder in Windows Explorer it will not show the new folder until I perform a refresh. This hasn't changed with the new drive. Any thoughts?

Most effective investment in speed

 

I have two video editing machines that occupy the same corner desk. I can start them both at the same time. Before the addition of this SSD these two Win7 Pro machines would start within seconds of each other. Now the SSD boot drive machine is ready...

Boot time improved by 45 seconds or more. Websites now display with the same speed as when I moved from a phone modem to a cable modem... which has slowed considerably over subsequent years.

It took this long for the prices to drop to my ability to pay.
