Drive Failed

 

The warranty factored into my purchase decision, but I did not factor in the likelihood of them not honoring it.

Cheap SSD, I bought two ; Before failing, both drives worked well enough to saturate my SATA2 controller. They are SATA3 capable but my board was not but I assume they would have performed to spec. I configured them as a raid

After three months of very light use and zero smart errors, it just up and died. It no longer showed up in bios on any machine. I tried to RMA it to have it replaced/repaired, but VisionTek is declining to honor their warranty, adding new warranty...

Lasted 17 months hopes warranty still covers it

 

Page crashed after i finished writing my review... so i'll just keep this shorter.Great while it worked.No longer recognized by bios or anything else.

Great Driver but NO EXTRAS

 

Great drive! Fast and deliciously fun to work on:) PS: Apricorn EZ GIG IV downloads and clones to this drive without having to buy the VisionTek software. This drive comes with nothing, so be prepared to run around finding hardware to mount and install...

I love it. it is very fast. My OS boots really quick. I never need to hibernate anymore.. Its super fast :) Ms OFFice opens really fast cause its installed on the SSD :D
