A funky wireless speaker with an integrated FM radio

Good design ; Meaty sound for size

Expensive ; Limited bass depth

Great design and a bunch of thoughtful design features make the Soundbook X3 a solid wireless speaker contender. However, as with many premium wireless speakers, the sound per pound equation is a bit tricky.

The Bayan Audio Soundbook X3 sports a good-looking design and powerful output for its size, but this portable Bluetooth speaker is not without its issues.

Robust, powerful audio output for a speaker this size. Very cool design. Can charge external mobile devices. FM radio. NFC compatible.

Distorts on tracks with deep bass at top volumes. Lops off opening seconds of tracks when skipping to them. Audio cuts out when sound source volume is low.
