Bowers & Wilkins 702 S2 review: B&W's trickledown tech in full effect
Soundstage has incredible height as well as width ; Superbly textured mid-range ; Deep, controlled bass ; Gorgeous fit and finish
Fussy about positioning ; Treble could be a tad sweeter
Big, thoroughbred speakers that offer excellent performance – but they require careful positioning.

Review of the Bowers and Wilkins 702 Signature floorstanding speaker
Refined, tonally real and consistently engaging sound ; Beautifully made ; Easy to partner
Fractional lack of fine detail ; Gigantic plinth ; Need a little space

Gorgeous design ; Pristine upper register ; Punchy low-mids ; Wide soundstage
Sensitive to placement and source material ; Expensive
The Bowers and Wilkins 702 S2 are a gorgeous set of floorstanding speakers that beautifully recreate instrumental music. But if you’re looking to have a dance party in your living room, they may not be for you.
