Size isn't everything
Smaller footprint ; Good value ; Balanced sound ; Doubles as voice recorder
Short-ish battery life ; Could be louder
Smaller, but just as powerful as its progenitor, the Sound Blaster Roar 2 is a multifunctional speaker that knows how to drop the bass and fill the room with sound. The Sound Blaster Roar 2 is a marked improvement on its predecessor. It's lighter and...

When the original Creative Sound Blaster Roar landed on our desk last year we were impressed by the big sound from its small scale. Now it's the turn of the more compact, more powerful, yet more expensive sequel: the Roar 2. Although to Creative Sound...
Decent sound from a small package, solid build
Exposed ports not the prettiest, more expensive than original
Although to Creative Sound Blaster Roar 2 couldn't be called a reference speaker, for its small size it really kicks out quality audio. There's plenty of bass considering the size, which otherwise typically lacks from such portable Bluetooth speakers.

The Roar 2 packs the same growl as the original, but looks better after dieting for a few months.
The best way to look at the Roar 2 is to simply consider it the same as the original Roar, albeit looking better after dieting for a few months. (Maybe it should have been called Roar 1.5?) Some cosmetic changes give it a slight makeover, but it’s...

The Creative Sound Blaster Roar 2 has plenty of unique features you don't typically see on Bluetooth speakers, but there are slightly better-sounding models for the price.

Popular audio company, Creative, has released yet another Bluetooth player but this time in the premium category with a lot of bells and whistles, but can it still pull its weight? Let's find out.
Does the Roar 2 have the barrage and the clamour we are looking for? Well, sort of. It has good sound and can definitely rock a small party. Creative always throws in a crazy amount of features such as MicroSD music player, voice recorder, charger for...

Though it's limited in terms of use laid back trips and sudden parties creative Soundblaster Roar 2 has a brighter sound signature, bunch of connectivity options and decent battery life
• Better sound over BT ; • Solid control buttons ; • Standing posture directs sound effectively
• Bulky ; • Not waterproof/ shockproof
Soundblaster Roar 2 has a very different usage; it compensates its bulk and non-rugged nature with bigger drivers with a heavier sound. The reshuffled arrangement of drivers has made it smaller and more useful at what it does. With a brighter sound...

Bluetooth speakers are no longer just about a convenient music listening experience.
*Brilliant bass ; *Good design ; *Incredible battery life
is in it to win it. It's certainly going to give tough competition to offerings from brands like Bose and Altec Lansing.

It might not be rugged or waterproof, and not very “portable” but it’s certainly one of the best Bluetooth speakers I’ve used to date. One I can recommend without hesitation. This is a perfect gift for the holiday season. Creative also sells a carry...

Creative Labs likes to do things big by packing its speakers with power and features. The original Roar, which we reviewed last year, delivered impressive sound and functionality. As an encore to the original, the Roar 2 is designed to be 20 percent...
speakers, the Roar 2 can power mobile devices via the USB output port, and play music directly from an inserted microSD card. Track controls allow navigation through folders and the songs therein, although this tends to be easier said than done. If the...

Priced higher than most, will the crazy amount of features of the Creative Sound Blaster Roar 2 Bluetooth speaker make up for the extra investment?
