Jamo delivers yet another great value 5.1-channel home cinema system, this time with powerful floorstanding speakers and a potent optional sub
Powerful sound ; Stylish design ; Great price
Build quality reflects price tag ; Springclips on surround speakers ; Emphasis on power over finesse
Jamo continues its unbelievable hot streak with another home cinema system that delivers scintillating sonics at an affordable price. The sound is bigger and more potent than the A101 HCS 5 thanks to the talents of the S426 fronts, and if you invest in...

A huge cinema speaker package that offers big value
Considerable value ; spacious, surprisingly cohesive soundfield ; decent bass
No subwoofer ; not the most refined system around, especially with music
For £350 (much less if you shop around) this is a worthy home cinema solution

This speaker system is muscular and compact - like corned beef
Boisterous, muscular sound ; Great value ; Superb sub
Lightweight build ; Opts for excitement over refinement ; Sub is expensive addition

Jamo's designers cleverly divert attention from this with a dashing design – industrial grey panels below the removable grilles are set into a tasteful black ash finish (also in White Ash and Wenge).
Boisterous, muscular sound; great value; superb sub
Lightweight build; opts for excitement over refinement; sub is expensive addition

Review There is no shortage of home cinema speaker packages priced at around the £300 mark. It is less common to find one incorporating a large floorstanding pair but that's exactly what long-established Danish brand Jamo is offering with this bundle....
A good match for the increasing number of affordable but decent quality AV receivers now being made, the Jamo S 426 HCS 3 is extraordinary value for money. Although a few economies have been made, notably with the centre and surrounds, it’s a skilfully...

+ Excellent sound for the price. + Look the part! + Definite improvement over my old Tevion satellite speakers and sub.
- Don't need a subwoofer for most things however I will buy one in the future for reinforcement. - Front cone covers are very thin.

Everything.
None at all.

Less weight, good sound
Book shelf speakers are smaller No matching sub woofer
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
Very good sound separation. The system is being used in conjunction with a Yamaha amplifier. Good main speaker height projecting the sound into the room.
Not very elegant design and speaker cover material very fragile. My thumb went through one of the covers as I was handling one of the speakers.
