The Marshall Uxbridge Voice with Alexa is small in size and big in sound, but it's outgunned at this price by the likes of Sonos
Big, energetic sound ; Distinctive looks ; Plenty of connectivity options
Small soundstage ; Not the most nuanced of performers
The Uxbridge Voice achieves Marshall’s goal of delivering big sound from a compact form, but it’s outperformed at this price for sound. Features are good, as is connectivity, and if you’re waist-deep in the Alexa ecosystem the Uxbridge is a fun and...

This Voice doesn't quite sing like an angel
Strong look ; Reasonably detailed ; Some good wireless options
No wired listening options ; Harsh at higher volumes ; Lacks agility and bass extension
Marshall's Uxbridge Voice is a well-built, feature-led multi-room speaker, but sadly the audio is mediocre at best

Marshall's signature design is loud and proud, as is the sound profile, but the Uxbridge has a lot of competition. Is it the bookshelf speaker to buy?
Iconic design ; Full and warm sound ; Loud volume ; Solid Alexa integration (Google Assistant version also available)
One-directional mono audio ; Not portable ; Either/or on Alexa/Google voice control
Marshall's signature design is loud and proud, as is the sound profile, but it's got a lot of competition to stand against. Still, if you like its looks this is a classy Wi-Fi speaker.

Marshall gets mouthy
Rock star design ; Compact ; Decent price
Audio quality could be improved ; Massive incremental jumps on rocker controls
Big sound from a small speaker, but audio quality could be better

Is the Uxbridge Voice, Marshall's smallest non-portable speaker, a great offering from the brand? Check out our full review.
Support for various platforms ie. AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Google Cast, and multi-room setups ; Compact yet powerful single tweeter and woofer design
No options for wired audio ; AirPlay 2 support not as smooth
