Bulky

These speakers are fantastic - especially for the price. Yes they're a bit big (Twin Towers) and they do sound better 20 cm off the wall 1.5 mtr apart. I'm hearing sounds from music collection never heard before!!

They are very big. Looking a bit like scale replica's of the twin towers, they need plenty of room to flex their considerable acoustic muscle. Just bin the sofa and you're sorted!

Good sound

Airlock 4mm banana plugs very tight, really too tight a fit, need excessive force. I tried them on more than one pair of V4 also a different make of plugs which were even more difficult. I asked Tannoy about it, they said plugs are not meant to go all...

As First Touch with ears they are amazing. Smooth, detailed, nothing to envy from the expensive ones. When I turn on the amplifier (Yamaha tx-400 very old), plays but all the living room! Are excellent speakers with beside all the money spent worth.

Weack tips at bottom especially like me with a 15 months kid... It is just my case.

These speaker are a supurb item for the price. Sound quality is fantastic.

Great value for money, equal in build quality & sound to speakers in a much higher price bracket which professional Hi Fi reveiwers confirm.

Because of their design, these speakers sound better at least 20cm away from the wall, but this isn't really a bad point, just a matter of fact. For a floor standing speaker in this price bracket they really can't be faulted.
