Archos Arnova ChildPad

A £100 Android tablet made with littluns in mind.

It's cheap ; It's colourful ; Software is relatively up-to-date ; Excellent video skills

A bit buggy ; Slightly sluggish ; Poor screen ; Poor internal speaker ; No Google Play access

It's only worth a fiver though - a year's subscription costs £9.99. And it'll be pretty useless in stopping any vaguely tech-savvy older kids as it won't stop naughty content from loading on third-party internet browsers, and can be uninstalled easily...
