Boox's 10.3-inch Android e-paper tablet still excels at one thing in particular
Excellent note-taking capabilities ; Android OS enables great versatility ; Slim and comfortable to hold ; Fingerprint sensor makes security quick and easy
Weak stylus magnet ; No integrated book store ; E Ink limits usability of third-party apps
While it lacks the polish of competing e-paper productivity tablets from Kobo, Kindle and reMarkable, the Note Air 3 arguably makes up for it with its amazing versatility. A feature-packed note-taking app and native support for a wide array of cloud...

Onyx's Boox Note Air3 is an overall performer in the E-Ink tablet space, and it impressed this librarian with Android 12 and an absurdly long battery.
Battery life doesn't quit ; Third-party Android apps ; Sturdy build, comfortable design ; Reading and writing is fast and enjoyable
Pen isn't the most comfortable for long-term use ; Some expected 300ppi display ; Slight lag in line drawing
Onyx Boox Note Air3 is a monochromatic E-Ink display tablet that supports third-party apps with Android 12 and launched with a faster CPU and a micro-SD card slot for greater storage as well.

Occasional performance hiccups ; Strange USB placement ; No IP rating ; Sluggish e-ink display isn’t for everyone
An oversized e-reader that works as a suitable tablet replacement for those needing a distraction-free device for work or education. However, its cumbersome size and high asking price might be too much for mere bookworms.

The Boox Note Air3 is a fantastic entry into the e-reader market, but its weight and larger screen compared to some of the smaller models by the company can make it a bit cumbersome to cart around.
