When the Pixel C was released it was one of the only Android tablets worth buying. In 2017, for better or worse this remains the case. Despite being over a year old there haven't been any other decent premium Android tablets to hit the market.

Google's iPad Pro rival tries to bridge the laptop divide
Fantastic screen ; Premium design ; Solid power
Heavy ; Keyboard is pricey option ; No microSD slot or 4G model
The Google Pixel C has it all: a fantastic display, heaps of power, a premium design and a lofty price tag. The only problem is, it's up against the excellent iPad Pro and it ain't exactly cheap.

Google's combined style and substance creates the best iPad Air 2 rival out.
Brilliant display ; Premium design ; Plenty of power
Not optimised for keyboard ; Battery could be better ; Heavy

The first Pixel was a Chromebook, launched with a flourish - a shining example of what a Chromebook could be, if you were going to pour everything into it. The arrival of the Pixel C tablet sees a new entrant to Google's Pixel programme, one that's...
Wonderful quality design, excellent display, lots of power, great keyboard, good battery performance
No fingerprint scanner, some unexplained unresponsiveness
We love the Pixel C's simple design and think the optional keyboard (£119 extra) has been considerately designed too. For those looking for a lightweight solution to working on the move, this is another contender that's great for productivity, whether...

A year after launch, but the latest Android updates keep the Pixel C relevant
Nice 2K display ; Great keyboard ; 10-hour battery life
Speakers aren't great ; No stylus
A year on and the Pixel C is still a great tabtop. Android Nougat makes it excellent for working on the go, and it'll handle the most demanding games easily.

The Pixel C is a 10.2in Android tablet that's the price of an iPad Air, but you can pair it with an optional keyboard for times when you need to type a lot. To find out how it stacks up against the competition, read our Google Pixel C review.
As a standalone tablet, the Pixel C is superb. It’s better than the HTC-made Nexus 9 which was great but not exceptional. Which the 'C' most certainly is. Storage is a bit limited, but if you can live with 32GB it’s good value at £399.Paying an extra...

Interesting things happen when Google decides to bring its hardware design in-house and the new Pixel C is the perfect example of this. Google's been...
Ingenious industrial design ; Powerful hardware ; Good battery life ; Stunning display
Inexcusably flakey software ; Expensive ; Poor cameras ; Keyboard not included
Like the Chromebook Pixel, Google intended the Pixel C to be ultimate pure Android tablet and whilst the software and hardware are undeniably powerful, it falls down in ways we didn’t expect..

The tablet that Android purists have been waiting for, the Google Pixel C is the first tablet designed and manufactured by Google itself. That's a lot of pressure, so how did this flagship 10-inch tablet score when we ran it through our lab test? Read...

The Pixel C is a superb tablet and keyboard package, but despite Android O, Android's weaknesses as a tablet OS undermine it
The Google Pixel C is a mighty fine tablet, and one that absolutely nails the detachable hybrid design. This is a glorious piece of hardware that’s perfectly fit for purpose. It’s fast, the screen is exceptional, and the all-round design is one that,...
