The Honor Pad 9 is a great tablet made excellent at this price point. It's got everything you could possibly need from an Android tablet.
Big 120Hz screen ; Supports all of Google apps and services ; Affordable but reasonably powerful ; Looks great
No fingerprint sensor ; OLED would’ve been nice ; Cameras are bang average
The Honor Pad 9 is a slick tablet with decent performance and a lovely display at a reasonable price. It’s much easier to recommend now the company has buried the hatchet with Google too, marking it an excellent (and more affordable) iPad alternative.

Good luck getting a more well-rounded tab for less: the Honor Pad 9 takes the fight to Apple's entry-level iPad
Colourful and detailed screen ; Respectable hardware for the price ; Optional keyboard adds productivity chops
Battery life and charging speeds could be better ; Software update promise is nebulous ; Distinctly average cameras
The Honor Pad 9 looks slicker than its price suggests, and has decent performance to boot. It’s a tempting Android alternative to an entry-level iPad.

The Pad 9 is a very good Android tablet for the price, combining great performance with a premium design and attractive display, but it's far from perfect
Strong performance ; Impressive gaming experience ; Great 120Hz screen ; Sleek design
Underwhelming battery life ; Slow charging ; No software update commitment
The Honor Pad 9 is undoubtedly one of the best tablets you can buy for under £300. However, a disappointing battery experience and lack of software support prevent it from being a straightforward recommendation.

The Honor Pad 9 has a massive screen (12.1 inches) and a low price (£249 at launch), so it's bound to be tempting for anyone looking for a sizeable display for videos. Is it detailed enough to bring your Netflix favourites to life and does the...

Unintuitively, the Honor Pad 9 (a.k.a. the Tablet 9 in China) is has a large 12.1-inch screen. It covers all the basics with an eight-speaker audio setup...
Thin and lightweight tablet for the size.
Just one major OS update planned.
We definitely enjoyed our time with the Honor Pad 9 and can offer it a hearty recommendation.

The Honor Pad 9 is a very strong contender in the 12-inch tablet category, especially at its current price
Big and bright 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate ; Attractive and stylish design ; Good battery life ; Affordable starting price ; Nice speakers
No fingerprint scanner ; Slow charging ; Average camera system ; No 3.5mm audio jack ; Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is a limiting factor ; Stylus, case or keyboard sold separately

The Honor Pad 9 is lacking in power, but it offers good value for hobbyists.
Bright screen ; Good sound for a tablet ; Keenly priced
No stylus included ; Poor performance
It's not the fanciest tablet in the world, but the Honor Pad 9 has a big, sharp, bright screen and performance befitting a midrange tablet, but at a budget price. It may lack the grunt for pro users, but for casual users and hobbyist creatives, this...

The Honor Pad 9 is an extra-large tablet that's geared toward entertainment. Combine that with a great value, and you have one of the best budget Android tablets around. The Pad 9 has a large 12.1-inch screen and outstanding battery life, but it will...
