The new Huawei tablet set to challenge the iPad Air 2
It sounds and feels great, and can be picked up for a very attractive price, but the Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 isn't quite able to mix it with the tablet big boys.

Huawei didn't just introduce fancier versions of the Nexus 6P and Huawei Watch during its CES 2016 event. It also unveiled a new tablet.

A good Android tablet that's going cheap
Funky stylus ; Solid design and speakers ; Good battery life
Screen not that high-res ; Finger scanner doesn’t feel handy
It’s not a standard-setter, but this stylus-ready tablet has a few quirky features up its sleeve.

Huawei takes on the iPad Air and Galaxy Tab S with the new MediaPad M2.
There’s been a bit of drought of new tablets recently so it’s great to see something interesting from Huawei. The MediaPad M2 10.0 has some decent specs for the price, although we’d suggest getting the model with more memory and storage.

Although established in the mobile phone world, Huawei are relative newcomers to the tablet world. On paper, the Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 ticks all the boxes, with decent specs and an appealing sleek design. Should you take a chance on this young tablet...

The Huawei MediaPad M2 has a lot going for it, but at £330, it's hard to know who will rush out to buy one
I’m slightly torn as to how to judge the Huawei MediaPad M2 10. On one hand, I think it’s a genuinely beautiful device, with a case that enhances the look, rather than being thrown in as an ugly afterthought. I even find the stylus a handy tool for...

I'll be honest with you. Android tablets are fairly boring. They were rather exciting about 3 years ago, when every new tablet offered just a bit more, or that extra[...]
What we have in the MediaPad M2 is a premium tablet, made to look the part, and designed to perform the part. The M-Pen takes the functionality up a huge level, and for that alone, this one is worth your money! Also, one word: doodling!

With the help of Harman Kardon, the 10-inch tablet offers two speakers on its top edge and two on the bottom.

Multimedia Metal. With the MediaPad M2 10, Huawei has managed to launch a multimedia tablet on the market that has an edge on other devices in this price range, such as high-resolution cameras. We will prove that that is not the tablet's only virtue in...
stylish, rigid metal casing ; various configurations ; good software ; decent signal quality in WWAN/WLAN/GPS ; very good cameras for a tablet ; bright Full HD screen ; good performance ; always cool ; decent sound quality ; long battery life
throttling under load ; cracks audibly when twisted ; screen's strong color shifts
Even if the design is not awesomely unique: Huawei's MediaPad is something special. The rigid metal casing is just as compelling as the relatively bright screen, good speakers and battery life. Stylus inputs are possible, the fingerprint scanner can be...

When it comes to audio, most tablets are inadequate. After all, have you ever tried playing an iPad on the train, in an airport lounge, or at a table in a crowded cafe? The unfortunate reality is that most tablets on the market have speakers that are...
