Lenovo's first 10.1in Windows 8 tablet is sleek and light but is it worth a look?
Stylish, light and well built ; Good battery life ; Integrated stylus
Atom processor struggles ; May be better suited to Windows RT (with free MS Office) ; Slow USB
It copes well with full HD video, but don’t even think about anything but the most basic 3D gaming, multi-tasking or heavy duty applications, such as image or video editors. The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 grinds to a halt running these.

A slick, expensive jack-of-all-trades
Surprisingly good keyboard ; All day battery life ; Slick, attractive build ; The full compatibility of Windows 8
Trackpoint mouse ; Essential accessories drive up the price ; Tablet can fall out of dock ; Atom processor is slow ; Expensive
We like the Lenovo ThinkPad 2, but just barely. It won us over with its good looks, solid keyboard and excellent battery life. Still, we'd never recommend it as your sole computing option. This is a traveler's device, for when you don't have the bag...

We already knew that Lenovo was going to launch a Windows 8-based tablet, so Pocket-lint was primed and ready to dive at the ThinkPad Tablet 2 when it

PC gaming, proper Photoshop, grown-up Word. This Win 8 hybrid promises desktop skills in a slim tablet form
Like squeezing a proper PC into a sexy 10in rectangle, the Tablet 2 is an impressive Win 8 hybrid

The ThinkPad Tablet 2 is certainly mobile for a full-spec Windows PC. It weighs just 565g. Remember that this is full blown, touch-optimized Windows 8 - you can install and run any Windows desktop software on this tablet. This then is an iPad-style...

Great features for a Atom tablet, but it'll cost you
The ; is the best-looking Atom Windows 8 tablet yet, and the optional keyboard dock is excellent. All-day battery life makes it great for travel.
The Tablet 2 is expensive, especially considering the small 64GB SSD, lack of USB 3.0, and generally slow Atom performance.
This Windows 8 tablet from Lenovo scores with great industrial design and battery life, but adding practically required accessories makes the ThinkPad Tablet 2 very expensive for what you get.

Lenovo's ThinkPad Tablet 2 is a Windows 8 Pro tablet with its own stylus aimed at business users and mobile workers.
The build quality, specifications and performance of the ThinkPad Tablet 2 don't match its high price. The inclusion of a stylus makes Windows easier to manage and the battery life is better than faster Windows tablets. But it’s not enough to warrant...

Lenovo serves up its first Windows 8 tablet for business, but is the ThinkPad Tablet 2 worthy of such a famous name?
ThinkPad design; Stylus support; Accessories available
No removable battery; Slower performance; Screen falls behind rival for quality; Build quality not up to scratch
The Lenovo looks like a ThinkPad but, in several key departments, it doesn’t offer the quality we’ve come to expect from such a famous brand. The screen isn’t as bright or punchy as the Dell Latitude’s similarly-sized panel, the Lenovo isn’t quite as...

Lenovo's ThinkPad Tablet 2 breaks the mould of Windows tablets somewhat by delivering a compact and lightweight design that combines great battery life with enough performance for everyday applications.
Light and compact; good battery life; 3G and Wi-Fi
Integrated battery; modest performance
The ThinkPad Tablet 2 is a light Windows 8 tablet that offers users go-anywhere connectivity and a usefully long battery life in a highly portable device. While it can run standard Windows apps, its modest performance limits it to basic productivity work.

The Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2 is one of the thinnest and lightest Windows 8 (Pro) powered tablets available on the market. Under the bonnet, you'll find the new dual-core Intel Atom processor Z2760 with four-threads, capable of running up to 1.80 GHz.
Sleek design ; Light-weight ; Wide-screen (16:9) ; Windows Pro 8 ; Excellent connectivity
A little pricey for a tablet ; Peformance limited by Atom processor
