The Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 is the brand's second-gen Android camera
Intuitive Android operation ; Fast and responsive ; Great camera app
Bigger than predecessor ; Pricey for a snapshot camera ; No SIM card option

The popular Galaxy Tab gets a reboot and redesign for 2012
Android Jelly Bean ; Good movie playback ; MicroSD support ; Bright screen
No 3G ; 16GB internal storage ; Uninspiring design ; Average cameras
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is the rather wordy successor to the popular Galaxy Tab 10.1, an Android tablet which managed to challenge the iPad in almost every department, which are some pretty big shoes to fill.

Can the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 slate rival the iPad?
Bright ; vibrant screen ; MicroSD card support ; Speedy browser performance
Poor cameras ; Thicker design ; No HDMI output

Samsung would like you to think of its tablets as the Android market leaders. To some extent, the firm has earned that right. It was early putting devices on sale, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 remains a consumer electronics classic, proving valuable...
Great video support, superb battery, screen is better than the spec suggests,
Boring to look at, stock keyboard is rotten
There's no doubt at all that the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is very capable indeed. The screen is clear, bright and has great viewing angles, although it lacks that super-high resolution that's all the rage these days.

Samsung's second smart snapper excels at sharing, but you'll pay for the privilege
Android 4.3 means easy app sharing ; Impressively large, sharp screen ; 50GB of free Dropbox storage
Taste-free looks ; Image quality is merely OK ; Almost unchanged from first Galaxy Camera
Minor improvements over last year’s model make this feel oddly outdated, despite its Android smarts

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is marginally thicker and heavier than the first generation Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and has a metallic finish to its back. It's thinner and lighter than the iPad.

The first-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was the iPad's closest rival of the time, even if such rivalry amounted to it being a device with a similar hardware spec, on a less-polished software platform, at a higher price. Still, if for some reason...
A year ago we liked the Tab 10.1, and for the second generation the hardware specs remain broadly the same, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a much better operating system. All for £100 cheaper than it was. We love the bright screen, and adding SD...

Samsung may rule the smartphone roost these days, but its latest tablet won't be ending the iPad's reign any time soon
Punchy performance ; Good screen
3MP camera is poor
A decent tablet at a great price, but a lack of power and 2011-res screen count against it

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)
The ; is a well-designed tablet with powerful speakers, a responsive screen, and comes with Android 4.0 installed.
At $400, the tablet is overpriced compared with more-powerful competing tablets that offer better features for around the same price. The tablet's dual-core CPU has trouble running large 1080p movies smoothly, and its screen color accuracy isn't as...
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comes up short in performance, features, and value compared with competing tablets.
