The best 10-inch Android tablet by a margin
Outstanding screen ; Thin and light ; Over 14 hours video playback ; Case adds very little bulk
Can’t remove Magazine UI ; Rubbish fingerprint scanner ; Needless Adaptive Display tech
and it’s no more successful here. The swiping system is just too unreliable to use it to unlock your tablet. It only works 40/50% of the time, which isn’t a great hit rate.

If you're after a tablet with an impossibly great screen...this is it
Excellent screen ; Plenty of power ; Good battery life
Still behind on design ; Small on-board storage ; Bundled apps uninspiring
Samsung has aimed high with the Tab S, and met its target: this pair of premium tablets are serious competition for Apple's iPad, thanks to a gorgeous screen, some serious horsepower and impressive battery life.

Can the Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablet take on the iPad Air?
Slick ; stylish design ; Stunningly bright screen ; Powerful performer
It's still plastic ; Uneven fingerprint sensor ; SideSync is unreliable

Samsung has not been shy of launching new tablets in recent years, with different lines, sizes and specs meaning there's a Tab for just about anyone, no matter what your predilection. We already really like what Samsung has done with the Galaxy TabPro,...
Great design, plenty of power, useful software additions, vibrant display, fingerprint scanner
Some content can look a little over saturated, sound quality not the best, limited bezel
We already really like what Samsung has done with the Galaxy TabPro, and the Tab S takes steps things up a notch in many areas. It's slimmer, brings that AMOLED display and a small increase in display size with the 10.5-inch model.

Samsung has finally given the 'S' branding to its range of tablets and the larger of the two models is the 10.5. See also: Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 review.

Samsung has launched two new Android tablets so here's our full review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Check out our Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 hands-on review and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 vs iPad mini 2 comparison review.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is one of the firm's best ever tablets with a thin and light design, although there is still too much plastic. Hardware is decent, namely that impressive display and great battery life making this a consumption machine....

We review Samsung's latest tablet, the Galaxy Tab S, packing a supremely sharp Super AMOLED screen and 8-megapixel camera. It can be a little confusing...

We put together and compare the Surface Pro 3 and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. The Surface Pro 3 from Microsoft is an amazing feat of engineering: part laptop, part tablet. It puts full power Windows 8 in a tiny case that will fit into the smallest bag. But...
The Surface Pro 3 and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 are both impressive tablets that offer stunning, big, bright and colourful displays. They're both ideal for multi-tasking – running more than one app simultaneously, side by side – but you won't be able to...

Tablets are a very popular personal viewing device for enjoying content at home and when travelling. They even run some great business software too, making them useful when there isn't the need for the full functionality of a desktop PC or laptop. With...
Technical powerhouse ; Gorgeous display ; Runs latest version of Android ; Good multi-tasking features ; MicroSD slot
Small on-board storage ; Side mounted speakers ; Disappointing camera ; Fiddly fingerprint scanning ; Software bloatware
The Galaxy Tab S is a great looking device, but it’s best advised to protect it with a choice of several matching and practically designed custom accessories from Samsung. The Book Cover (£49.99) is the best choice as it configures to three different...
