The Toshiba Excite 10 LE is the thinnest, lightest 10-inch tablet yet, an achievement made more impressive by the inclusion of HDMI, Micro-USB, and microSD memory expansion.
The proprietary charging adapter is a beast; the screen is so-so; the internal speakers sound thin; and the construction quality looks better than it feels.
The Toshiba Excite 10 LE sets a new design standard for thin and light 10-inch tablets, but the specs don't live up to the name.

It was a great tablet while it lasted
Really disappointed that it lasted less than 3 years. It is totally useless now, stuck in endless boot mode

I had a cell phone(Glide) that did this a few years back. What scares me is I ended up replacing the phone 4 times before i switched phones hoping it wasn't a design flaw. Hope this is not the case here.
Light weight ; Quick ; affordable
When holding, would randomly think i was touch the screen in the bottom right corner and act crazy until i shut it down and re powered on. RMA'ed, will see what happens

I bought this on sale here for $249. It was for my wife's college courses just to read ebooks but once we got it, we both fell in love with this thing. it's VERY thin and lightweight. I have a samsung galaxy tab 2 and i would take this toshiba over it...
a little hard to find peripherals for like cases, screen guards, keyboards, etc

Why do people get tablets? I got one to travel with. Email, movies and get on the webi. This does that. If you go to the Toshiba website, the price isn't dropped like NewEgg. I did some research on other places to buy and this was the lowest price fora...
Awesome. I guess they dropped the price to compete with other tablets, but the quality of the build is amazing. I'm using for MKV DIVX movies, quality is very good. Was going to wait for the microsoft tablet, but I think the price will be a lot higher...
Not sure if it will ir remote anything

I took years to decide on a tablet. I got a Nook Color, but after 2 years, I wanted more speed and screen size, and fewer restrictions. I thought the Toshiba Thrive might fill the bill, but it was thick and heavy -- no lighter than my netbook. Reviews...
Fast, lightweight, very thin
Accessories are still expensive and hard to find. The dock is a little lacking
Consumer review (tigerdirect.com)
I picked up the Excite within 2 days of the release not because it was so thin, but because I have always liked the Regza display that Toshiba uses. The tablet itself is gorgeous; thin, sleek, gorilla glass on the front and well placed buttons. It...
