The 50PX5D isn't the best Plasma on the market and has its problems but the image quality isn't completely terrible from a reasonable viewing distance.

Terrible

Very poor quality and manufacturer support. Less than 4 years old - paid over $5,000 and now have to buy a new TV! Will never buy another LG product.

Nice picture esp through its tuner

Broke after 2 years -out of warranty. Had it fixed and it broke again after less than 2 years. LG don't want to know about it.

Terrible

Utter rubbish from LG - this TV cost $6000 new and lasted less than 4 years. Class action being launched in US over the design fault. LG Australia have wiped their hands of the problem. Disgusting attitude from LG Australia given people buy big ticket...

Picture was quite good for the first 18 months

Factory flawed problem with y-sus & z-sus boards, Tv is only good for about two years on average before very expensive repairs needed.
