LG 50PG6000 50in Plasma TV

If you're in the market for a 50in flat TV, you should definitely check out LG's 50PG6000 plasma.

The 50PG6000 is far and away LG's finest flat TV to date, combining a striking and innovative design with some excellent performance standards, bags of features, and above all, a price that's so reasonable it's almost silly.

LG 32PG6000 review

Smart, svelte looks ; good TV tuner ; clean and clear interface ; fast controls

Average DVD playback ; disappointing Blu-ray video ; weak scaler

It's cheap and the TV tuner is decent, but we're put off by the lacklustre video performance

LG 32PG6000 review

There's much to like about the world's smallest plasma TV

Smooth movement ; Good black level ; Excellent connectivity

Lack of detail ; Some jagged edges ; Average audio performance

A great value plasma that will appeal to those looking for a bedroom TV

LG 42PG6000 review

This plasma from LG surprisingly comes up short against its LCD peers

Looks nice ; No motion noise ; Great connectivity

Black levels not up to expected standards ; Some colour issues ; Rather noisy and soft picture

A stylish plasma, but there are too many picture issues to make this a worthwhile investment overall

LG 50PG6000 review

This plasma claims industry-leading blacks and an amazing design –but no Full HD

Great design ; Brightness ; Strong video processing ; Good black levesl ; Extensive calibration possibilities

Only one RGB Scart ; Not Full HD

The absence of Full HD is a shame, but won't ruin your experience of this fantastic TV, it has more than enough good points to make up for it

LG 50PG6000 review

If your budget is tight investigate this solid all-rounder that's easy on the eye, and the bank balance.

Clean, detailed off-air ; video images are colourful with decent black levels

Slight issues with motion ; not the real quality of more expensive models

This is no world-beater, but for £1200 or less it's hard to argue with

LG 32PG6000 television

With a slim screen that seems moulded from a single pane of glass, the 32PG6000 is something of a design coup for LG. But there's something else up its sleeve that makes this flat telly truly unique: it's a plasma. All other 32-inch TVs are LCDs....

Plasma tech, "single pane" styling, kind to Freeview and DVD, depth to high-def images, easy to use

No Full HD resolution, some jagged edges, some image retention

Stylish, affordable and versatile, LG’s 32-inch plasma is an absolute bargain. It does have its weaknesses and we wouldn’t recommend it to gamers, but as a main TV for the lounge it’s one of the best value and most versatile sets around. As well as...

LG 42PG6000 Budget Plasma Display

Regular readers will know that I covered LGÂ's high end plasma screen, the PG7000, a few weeks ago. This time around we take a step down the range and look at the HD ready PG6000. The first thing that hit me when unpacking this model was the fact that...

LG 32PG6000

Is the first 32in plasma TV for five years a stroke of genius or an exercise in lunacy?

Surprisingly good pictures / Good value / Tidy looks / Plenty of features

Not full HD / Pictures not very bright / Occasional colour tone issues

This is dominated by a single sheet of glass which runs over the whole front of the TV, bezel and screen alike, giving it a sleek and polished finish that belies its keen £500 price point
