Excellent

 

This has been a great TV, had it for about 5 years and not a problem, maybe I have just been lucky. I would buy another LG TV except after reading all the comments about poor service from LG I might give them a miss in future.

Looks great, good picture quality.

I have a problem with my DT-42PY10X picture freezing up occasionally, sound still OK. Set OK apart from this fault. Only way to clear the fault is power down at the wall, remote does nothing. LG don't want to know, now ignoring my Emails. Does anyone...

Why aren't Pioneer and Fujitsu copying LG. Give us integrated digital tuners with optical out, when you spend $9-10k you deserve those features. If you think digital TV is too hard to use, this is for you. If you want quality, get the Fujitsu P2VHA40...

Integrated Digital Tuners (Yes, 2 of them), and it's one of the few that has Optical Output (for Digital TV as well as DVI in and Component 1) letting you enjoy 5.1 channel sound from regular TV broadcasts. (Many Integrated Digital CRTs on the market...

Build quality - I've always been a fan of LG in Value for money, but they are starting to feel really cheap. Samsungs build quality is much better, and Samsung have 2 years warranty, LG just 1 year. Have seen a couple of dud pixels on many display...
