Panasonic FX700 Series (TX-49FX700) review

This could be the best 4K HDR option for budget TV buyers

4K with HDR10+ ; Low input lag ; Slim metal frame design ; Freeview Play

Tricky middle child in the family

Dynamic metadata has the potential the transform the HDR performance of this mid-range UHD set, and the design is a class above the budget norm.

Panasonic TX-65FX750B television review

  (Rating Hidden)

As Panasonic's top-tier LCD TV for 2018 we had high hopes for the 65-inch TX-65FX750B. It looks the same as Panasonic's flagship OLED, it supports the same contrast-boosting HDR formats and has the same HCX image processor, which should create...

Panasonic TX-49FX750B television review

  (Rating Hidden)

With OLEDs ruling the roost at the top end of the TV spectrum, high-end LCD TVs are in danger of being forgotten. The 49-inch Panasonic TX-49FX750B has a similar design to the brand's 802B OLED, but can it match it when it comes to sound and picture...

Panasonic TX-55FX750B television review

  (Rating Hidden)

With its simple, understated design, Panasonic is leaving it all up to the picture and sound quality to make this TV stand out from its rivals. The 55-inch TX-55FX750B is 4K and supports a new HDR format, HDR10+, which could improve contrast and detail...

The Panasonic TX-49FX740B 49-inch 4K supports contrast-boosting HDR viewing and features Freeview Play. But how good is the HDR picture? And will your Ultra HD films sound amazing? We sent this Panasonic TV to the lab to put it through our tough tests...

Outstanding picture, some feature limitations

I think it would be hard to beat the picture quality without going to OLED and the TV is quite easy to use. One downside is that it is impossible to use the rear covers if you have anything more than one HDMI source connected, plugging in a USB device...

So Far So Good

Only had this 55" TV for over a week but we're enjoying the quality of the picture. The quality of some SD channels isn't great but HD and Blu-Ray are excellent. Might have to invest in a sound bar as the sound isn't brilliant but it'll do. The update...
