Panasonic TC-P60ZT60

The Panasonic TC-PZT60 family of plasma HDTVs offer the outstanding performance you would expect from a flagship line, but you can get the same performance from the VT60 series for a lot less money.

Excellent black level. Brilliant colors. Feature-rich.

Very expensive. Power hog. Only three HDMI ports.

Conclusion If the TC-PZT60 series turns out to be Panasonic's final plasma HDTV line, it will stand as a solid representation of what plasma technology is, or was, all about: inky blacks, robust colors, and stunning image detail. Despite the...

Panasonic's ZT60 plasma has the best picture ever

Five years after Pioneer's Kuro and a few before OLED becomes mainstream, Panasonic's ZT60 plasma TV now owns the picture-quality crown. But is it worth the extra cost?

The ; plasma TV can produce the best all-around picture quality available; deepest black levels in its class; highly accurate color; excellent video processing, off-angle viewing and screen uniformity; best-in-class preservation of contrast and...

Exceedingly expensive; not as suited to extremely bright rooms as the Samsung F8500 plasma or LED LCD TVs; identical picture quality to the Panasonic VT60 in a dark room; consumes more power than LED LCD TVs.

For those who can afford it, the Panasonic TC-PZT60 comes closer than any TV yet to picture-quality perfection.

The TC-PVT60 also beat our in-house Kuro, so the most important question for videophiles with money to burn becomes: Why did you like the picture quality of the ZT60 better than the VT60's? The sole reason is that the ZT60 looks better in a bright...

"The Current Industry Standard In Picture Quality"

As a consumer who actually bought the ZT60, I think I can put a few things into perspective. Back in '09 I saw a demo of a 50" Pioneer Kuro plasma (the industry reference for black level quality until now) at a store with the lights switched off. Yes,...

Unrivaled picture quality

Expensive

""THE BEST IN BEST PRICE .""

You have got to buy this TV as it is the best. Hope Panasonic does not get out of the plasma business. I am surprised that CNET it a 5 star rating

Black level, contrast, color saturation & accuracy, smart features

None, cannot find any fault.

"Jaw-dropping image quality."

This wasn't my first choice when I went to my local AV store for a new HDTV. I originally went in to purchans a Samsung 65" UNF8000. This set wasn't even my 2nd choice. After looking around a bit I found last years Sony XBR-65HX950 on clearance for...

Picture quality is incredible. Love the svelte aesthetics and fit/finish of the set.

Sound output is weak but that can be remedied.

"Best picture quality ever!"

I've logged over 250 hours on this unit. The ZT60 works as a TV should work while providing the best picture quality of any TV to date. It's easy to operate & has more features (apps) than I'll ever use. If you can afford it & you don't have a super...

Black level, contrast, color saturation & accuracy, smart features

Fan noise may bother some in given settings, price, may be too dim for rooms with uncontrolled light, ARC is buggy.

"This is absolutely the best TV on the market right now."

You have got to buy this TV as it is the best. Hope Panasonic does not get out of the plasma business. I am surprised that CNET did not give it a 5 star rating.

Inky black levels, excellent contrast and brightness. 2D scenes look like 3D. Video looks film like instead of a photo like LED or LCD TVs. Panasonic has set the gold standard with this TV.

None, cannot find any fault.
