Magnavox Plasma

We bought this television at Sam's Club for $999 and it is fantastic for the price. I mean 50" wide screen, 720P HDTV, could be better at 1080P but every other television I researched other television set ups and all were well over $1000 for even 720P....

So far a winner

Price. Built in QAM tuner. Software upgradable.

Discontinued model. Factory PRE-sets not to useful. "May" have an electronic odor problem?

You could pay more... but why the heck would you want to?

Size, HDTV, LCD, Great picture/sound, widescreen, easy to use and setup, price, price, price!

Speakers are located on the side (if this really matters), no Picture-In-Picture (PIP)

Worst TV Experience

We bought 26MF231D on September 3rd, 2006. Within 2 months, the TV started to make a very loud shrieking static noise for 2 ~ 3 minutes followed by a sudden shutdown. I tried to turn on the TV and was able to watch TV for a while, but it started the ...

I can't think of any....

Breaks down in 2 months.
