Need to keep an eye on things outdoors? The Axis is a professional, tamper proof device for serious installations.
Overall, we found the process a little fiddly as care must be taken not to stretch or damage the wire bundle to the lens as you move it and you also need to rotate the plastic light baffle inside the glass so that it is in the correct position when...

Once again Axis has produced a great network camera at an impressive price.
An innovative wide angle IP camera that offers very good coverage and top image quality. PTZ cameras with this level of features usually cost a lot more so the Axis alternative also looks good value as well.

With IP cameras you get what you pay for. While the sub $200 cameras are serviceable, the image sensors aren't sensitive enough to capture face detail and moving objects. If you can afford it and/or need quality images you cannot go wrong with Axis.
This camera truly sets itself apart with image quality and reliability. Easy to set up. Quality camera construction

Great entry level fixed dome camera. AXIS was the first to introduce IP video and they are still the market leader for a good reason.
I have installed several of these units over the last two years and have never had a problem. Product support is outstanding and RMA returns are a breeze although I have never had to return this particular model yet
Not really a con on the camera but AXIS Management Software is a system hog but all AXIS cameras are compatible with ANY open platform camera management software suite on the market

Well - nice dome-kit
This is actually the dome kit for the 233D camera - not the actual camera itself. The actual camera costs $2000 ; If it looks too good to be true - IT IS
