D-Link's pan/tilt/zoom camera doesn't add enough to the package to make it the best home surveillance camera, especially without online (or any) video storage. Still, the camera and mydlink service do a good job with streaming VGA video at a low cost...
The DCS-5020L outshines even its own sibling because of the pan/tilt capabilities, working well with a VGA stream, and better night vision, all for only $20 more at retail. But without much higher quality video and the cloud-recording option (or,...

Having looked at several security/surveillance cameras this offering by D-Link seems to offer a lot more out of the box and not only can you view from any PC but also from iPad/iPhone and Android devices and data can be stored in the cloud.
The D-Link DCS-5020L web camera can be fitted on the supplied holder or used flat on a surface meaning it is a lot easier to move from place to place. Without the fitment it is 17cm tall, 12cm wide and 11.5cm deep with power lead inserted. Unlike most...

It was only a few years ago that you couldn't buy inexpensive and well working pan/title IP cameras that just worked out of the box. Sure, there was a few "IP camera" that were cheap, but they were cheap in every sense of the word. D-Link has really...

Best night vision we've tested to date, Great wireless range, Hosted portal for remote viewing, Great value for the price
No recording to SD card, but you are notified at network loss, No recording to share, Not HD
mydlink-enabled pan and tilt Day/Night Network Camera
Consumer review (newegg.com)
A friend of mine asked me to buy these specific cameras and install as his tech knowledge is limited. I buy from Newegg and they show up quickly. If you do not have the Dlink cloud, then they are a pain to set up. After finally setting up all the cams,...
Nice cameras, small enough to put anywhere, resolution is fine for my needs
Hard to get properly set up, Cannot get them to work remotely, NO TECH SUPPORT
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Superb night vision, remote control from phone or PC, long wireless range, works as network extenders
Sometimes the color mode acts weird on two of my five cameras after switching night vision off
Consumer review (newegg.com)
We got two of these to expand the range of our wifi and look in on our kids ( < 4 years old) when we want to. Getting these two cameras setup wasn't the easiest and we kept getting errors during the process. In the end we got it working and I can...
Wide field of view, fairly high compatibility with viewing programs
Somewhat difficult to setup, slow response at times, repeater function is garbage
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Price to feature ratio is very high on this cool little camera
Once you have it all set the iPhone app works almost flawlessly. Signing in an seconds. Controls are easy to use and very responsive. It sees very well in the dark
There is some firmware that needs to be updated, but if you have any computer knowledge, you won't have much problem. People having issues just don't know what they're doing, or got a bad egg
