People in other reviews say it's loud. For less than a second it's a little loud then that goes away since it takes a second to grind the beans. Then the motor runs rather quiet for 10 seconds and the brewing begins. It won't get the neighbors in an...
Allows for up to 14 tablespoons in a 12 cup pot which is more than enough in my opinion. Looks sharp. Easy to clean.
Pot is cheap and looks like it could break if cold water rinsed it out when hot.

Hopped on NewEgg to buy a replacement carafe (I dropped mine >.< ) and figured I'd update my old review. Sorry some people had problems with this unit but 3 years later, mine still works! I even had a mishap with the dishwasher and melted a few...
None, I'm pretty happy with it.

Will not buy CUISINART product ever, ever again.
Grinds and Brews Looks nice
Well, 7 months later (not even) it stopped functioning properly. After it grinds it just stops and doesn't work anymore. Don't buy this. I didn't expect a product to work for only a couple of months. Waste of a $100.

I feel a little cheated and lied to since "3" day Shipping took "4" days. Why not call it 4 day shipping, why lie to customers? I'm not sure this is the first time and I'm not the first customer. I'd like to get 1/4th of my money back for that extra...
+It grinds and brews +Looks elegant +Like the color scheme
-Too many parts to clean -Feels a little "cheap"
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I read the reviews before I purchased this, so I was prepared for the grinder being loud and there being a lot of parts, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. The grinder is about as loud as crushing ice in a blender, but it only lasts for about a...
*Affordable, yet sturdy. *Grinds beans perfectly every time *Lots of internal features it ensure you get a great cup of coffee
The cons actually don't bother me too much...enjoying my fresh and delicious coffee makes me forget about them completely. *Loud *7 parts to clean

The few minor cons pail compared to how awesome this coffee maker is. I'm someone that really enjoys his coffee and totally love this maker.
Makes amazing coffee. Gold screen mesh screen works great. The auto start/off and other features really make it the best coffee maker I've owned. Previously owned a Melitta gind and brewer, and various other types, this one is by far the best.
Lots of things to clean afterward and it can be a little loud while brewing (close to a hair dryer). Instead of just beeping when it's done brewing it should play a tune.

Overall not a bad machine, but I like to keep my coffee makers clean and this thing has just too many moving parts to keep clean after each brew.
Makes good coffee, most of the time. Keeps it warm for hours in the thermos. I like that it doesn't use power to keep it warm. Grind nicely.
Too many parts to clean after brewing. Difficult to fill with water without spilling some. Filter basket is a little small and sometimes grounds overflow the top and into the coffee. Also, removing the pot while brewing will make the small filter...

My wife asked me last year on my birthday what I wanted and I received a new maker (same model) but will not open it until the current one fails, Cant wait to see how long it really will last. My advice to everyone is to only use filtered water and...
have had this model for almost three years now and its the best, longest lasting coffee maker I have ever had. I highly recommend this unit to anyone who drinks ground coffee.
After brewing four (sometimes 5 or 6 ) pots every day for almost three years I can see wear and some discoloration on the base. I also see that there is a small crack forming on the rim of the warmer plat, but after this many uses I think this is to be...

when it works is the best but only has a life of a year to a year and a hallf
after about 18 months (have had 3) an internal spring breaks and the filter door opens and water and coffee spill all over....
