The Pixelbook Go is a new high-end Chromebook from Google, with a design and performance that could rival a laptop, despite the more affordable price
Fantastic keyboard;Attractive, understated look;Impressive battery life;Android apps on Chrome can be useful (even if buggy)
Can get far too expensive if you upgrade the specs ;No fingerprint scanner/facial unlock;Have to get the top model if you want a 4K screen

The best Chromebook for the rest of us
Incredible battery life ; Amazing ‘Hush’ keyboard ; Rare 1080p webcam ; Excellent design
No biometric login ; Iffy pricing at mid- to- high-end

There's very little about the Pixelbook we don't like. It's nimble, lovely to use and looks great, plus it's speedy and not as pricey as predecessors.
Lovely design that's lightweight and attractive ; Speedy performance ; Not as pricey as previous Pixelbooks ; Great keyboard
Android app support is still ropey ; Trackpad isn't the best
Nimble, lovely to use and great looking, the Pixelbook Go is speedy and has a battery that lasts all day. It might still be a bit more expensive than other brands' Chromebooks, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than previous Pixelbook models, which we...

This first-party Chromebook is a slice of budget-friendly brilliance
Attractive design ; Great battery life ; Excellent value
Underwhelming performance ; Unfortunate glitches

Playful design ; Runs cool ; Long battery life
Fussy touchpad ; Stops being affordable above base model ; Hush keyboard is divisive ; Should be a 2-in-1 for some Android apps
The Google Pixelbook Go is a playful Chromebook with long battery life, but it’s not affordable above the base model and the touchpad can be fussy.

The original Pixelbook was beautiful, but a bit too expensive. The new Pixelbook Go takes a different approach. It starts at a more affordable $649, without sacrificing build quality or performance. Is this the first Google Chromebook that's actually...
Portable design ; Bright, colorful display ; Speakers are impressive ; Excellent battery life

Google's most affordable Chromebook yet is a solid all-around laptop. It's not as eye-catching as the original Pixelbook, and Google cut a few corners to get the price down (most notably the display).. But the Pixelbook Go covers the basics well and...
Excellent keyboard ; Good performance and battery life ; The Chrome OS platform is solid and stable ; Thin and light design with strong build quality
Display isn’t as good as the original Pixelbook ; Trackpad isn’t the smoothest ; Slightly expensive for a Chromebook ; It’s a bit boring to look at
Yes, you can still get a Chromebook for less money than what Google is asking. But if you think a Chromebook can be your main computer and don't mind paying a little extra for a device that's thin, light and well-engineered, the Pixelbook Go will...

Google's cheapest Chromebook is still more expensive than the competition
Excellent keyboard ; Good battery life ; Simple, clean design
Expensive compared to competition ; No microSD storage expansion ; 16:9 screen can feel cramped
If you are in the market for a Chromebook and happen to find the Pixelbook Go on sale, definitely give it an extra look. But at full price, you have to ask yourself how much simplicity is worth to you.
