Fell short.

Looks great, had great value at the time of purchase

Died within 2 weeks of ownership, was replaced after about month of fighting with MSI. Dead again after 18 months

Unbeatable for the price...

Amazing screen, interface, and feel ; I did about 20 + hours of research trying to find a laptop that is big ( I'm a big guy), with a nice screen and enough memory for me to do editing. This was the winner. While it doesn't have all the bells and...

The track pad has horribly heavy clunky buttons on them ; The keyboard has a downsized . / and shift key on the right side of it but with time should be fine For what I'm doing i have no need for a num pad

Really good!

Give the manufacturer a call, complain for about 5minutes and they will send you the 64bit install disk for free.

Amazing labtop, have had it for a few days. dual boot seem to works really well. Its extremely fast and really good

Preinstalled Vista Home Premium 32bit for those that don't know 32bit only supports up to 3GB's of RAM. For this labtop I would recommend 64bit

Keeps getting better everyday!

I have a laundry list of customers wanting 17" laptops with XP on it.... this is the one that I am going to recommend right off the bat... having them order them from Newegg, of course! I have a Diamond HD600 USB TV that I hooked up to this in XP and...

This laptop can be XP'd very easily! I made a dual-boot XP / Vista Ultimate in several hours. This is one of the best laptops that I have ever worked on! This is the FIRST SATA computer that I have not had to install SATA drivers for on XP! The XP SP2...

Throw away the XP driver disk that comes with the laptop... get your drivers from the MSI site... CD is no good. This laptop has IR on the front and needs the SnowflakeEmulation driver for XP.... nowhere to be had. No biggie though

FANTASTIC LAPTOP!!!!

Looked all over at over 100 laptops to refer to customers of mine... this one won the battle! I would highly recommend this laptop, despite the shiny surface (which most laptops have these days). I wanted this for my personal / tech laptop. It even...

1920x1200... full 1080p! ANTI-GLARE SCREEN! Beautifull keyboard! 3 USB ports (newegg claims 4). This laptop is one fine machine!!!! You do get more for your money with this laptop

The Vista has to go, which was my original plan anywy. You had better carry a wipe-down rag with this laptop, as it does show fingerprints (in very good detail)
