Toshiba Satellite C660-15z review

Good value for money from this solid and portable budget laptop

Decent office performance ; Battery life ; Solid build quality ; Portability

No camera ; Graphics card not powerful enough for HD video ; Limited if multitasking ; Limited ports

Overall, the Satellite C660-15z provides great value for money. Although both performance and design are lacking compared to the Acer, this is a well-built, highly usable and effortlessly portable laptop.

Toshiba Satellite C660D-10W review

The low price of the Toshiba Satellite C660D-10W will immediately make it attractive to those with limited funds or perhaps those who were considering buying a netbook, but would prefer something with more power and flexibility.

The whole construction of the Toshiba Satellite C660D-10W doesn’t look or feel expensive, but it does feel very solid and well-made. It's also being the lightest of the group at only 2.3kg. Battery life is also better than most, making it a better...

Toshiba Satellite C660-11K review

Toshiba is well known for its business laptops, but it's still a little surprising that the Satellite C660 (which is aimed at home users) is fairly businesslike in appearance. The case is made of black plastic, but it's finished in a uniform texture...

A smart and well-built laptop with good battery life, but it lacks a number of expansion ports

Toshiba Satellite C660 (PSC1LA-00J001) entry-level notebook

Toshiba Satellite C660 (PSC1LA-00J001): A 15.6in notebook with decent performance, but below-average features

Performance ; Relatively light weight

Build quality ; Only two USB 2.0 ports ; No HDMI

The Toshiba Satellite C660 lacks lots of features and, as such, isn't a great choice for anyone who wants a capable entry-level laptop. The only things going for it are its good performance and relatively light weight. However, there are better models...

Review Toshiba Satellite C660 Notebook

Entry Level. Toshiba offers a range of entry level notebooks with the C660 series. New customers are to be wooed with a wide functionality, and above all with a low price. We've taken a closer look at the Satellite C660-10E and put it through its paces.

Solid workmanship, Good keyboard, Quiet and cool, Low power consumption, The Satellite C660-10E supplies a good keyboard in a solid case for little money

Low performance, Very clattery mouse keys, Very few interfaces, Clattery battery, The notebook's interfaces have definitely been cutback majorly. The performance has also been extremely economized

Toshiba Satellite C660

Toshiba's Satellite C660 solidly demonstrates that you get what you pay for. It's not a bad notebook, but it's not a particularly remarkable one either.

Inexpensive. Solid performance. Full number pad.

Dull style. Somewhat weighty. Only 2GB RAM on-board. Defaults to 32-bit Windows.

The C660 offers what its price suggests. It's not a world beater in processing terms and the battery won't quite last a whole day. But if you need a solid and not all that visually exciting machine, it's got you covered.
