Toshiba Satellite L755-13K review

It's got plenty of performance and a great screen, but the L755 can't compete with the Dell Inspiron 15R

Toshiba Satellite L755D-12L review

The dark red finish isn't quite to our taste, we'd have to admit, but the Toshiba Satellite L755D-12L is certainly distinctive. And no matter whether it's pink, orange, purple or turquoise there's no disguising the fact that the Satellite is a very...

The AMD processor isn't quite a match for Intel's Sandy Bridge models, though you should find the Toshiba Satellite L755D-12L has enough grunt for everyday tasks. We'd have liked a more generous hard disk space provision but the display and graphics...

Toshiba Satellite L755D-12L review

A great first showing for AMD Llano; desktop performance on a par with Intel's budget chips but better graphics and battery life make it a compelling budget choice

Toshiba Satellite L775-119 review

If space is limited, a large laptop can go some way to replacing a desktop PC and doesn't even have to cost much more. Toshiba's Satellite L775-119 is a 17" model with a Core i5 processor for less than £600.

A great desktop replacement laptop with the potential to be a fantastic multimedia machine

Toshiba Satellite L755D review

With good gaming performance and fine ergonomics, the Satellite L755D is a dependable budget laptop

In a market that’s been utterly dominated by Intel for many years, it’s good to see AMD fighting back. The A6-3400M might not take the fight to Intel in desktop applications, but it combines fair all-round performance with casual gaming prowess. That...

Toshiba Satellite L755-S5166 review: a classically boring 15-inch laptop

While this laptop doesn't really have anything wrong with it, Toshiba's midrange budget Satellite doesn't get anything that right, either.

The ; covers all bases of what constitutes a decent laptop experience, for the most part.

For about the same price, alternatives are out there that offer bigger bang, and better processors, for the buck. This machine excels at little, and it's bulky, too.

The Toshiba Satellite L755-S5166 is neither the best value nor the best total package, but it's a fine middle-of-the-road laptop. However, odds are that better, newer versions are right around the corner.

Toshiba Satellite L755-S5258: Solid Performance, Cheap Parts

The Toshiba Satellite L755-S5258 looks like a budget laptop, but it's got a decent punch under its belt. Unfortunately, the cheap exterior and cheap construction (the Function key on our review model didn't work) may not be enough to make up for its...

Lighter than it looks ; Solid performance at great price

Fn key didn't work ; Trackpad is tiny

Minus the cheap parts and hardware issues, the Satellite is a solid performer.
