Toshiba Satellite P775 17.3in Core i7 laptop

Review As laptops become ever more identical on the inside, it's the stuff on the outside that now differentiates one from another.

The Satellite P775 is nice enough to look at if you favour boy-racer kit, and puts in a reasonable performance too. It's just not particularly exciting and - compared to the similarly specced yet faster Samsung RF711 [2] - overpriced. ®

Toshiba Satellite P775D-S7144

The Toshiba Satellite P775D-S7144 is an affordable desktop replacement with an AMD quad-core CPU and discrete GPU for a solid gaming experience.

Large, vibrant screen. An abundance of ports, including USB 3.0. Good for gaming.

Battery life could be better. DVD, not Blu-ray, player. Display falls short of 1080p. Flexing on the lid. Keyboard isn't backlit. Lots of bloatware.

Toshiba Satellite P775-S7320 review: Toshiba Satellite P775-S7320

Toshiba Satellite P775-S7320

The ; has decent components and features for its price and is lightweight for a 17-inch laptop.

The design of the Satellite P775-S7320 is depressing as is its graphics performance.

As long as your performance needs don't go far beyond basic productivity tasks, the Toshiba Satellite P775-S7320 is a decent big-screen laptop.

Review Toshiba Satellite P775-100 3D-Vision Notebook

Hot spec wearer. Toshiba launches another 17 inch notebook, called Satellite P775-100 3D Vision that makes 3D feeling possible at home. Equipped with a powerful Intel CPU and an Nvidia graphics, the laptop can also convert 2D material in 3D - but it's...

Good sound; 3D functionality; Two hard disks with a memory capacity of 1500 GB; One USB 3.0 port; 2D / 3D conversion possible; No CPU throttling; Key light

Moderate plastic case; Highly reflective screen; No RAID controller; High temperature in load; Short battery life

The conversion of 2D material to 3D works quite well. Even somewhat older games can be played in the third dimension with the 2D to 3D converter

Toshiba Satellite P775-112

Material used makes it light to carry; screen nice and bright; keyboard decent size; amazing specs- can run high end gaming!; tried really hard on speaker boost- sounds pretty ok for a laptop; sleep n' charge-very handy when wanting to charge...

no TV tuner-for the price you pay, you would expect this to be there; fault with media center and msn videoing not being compatible; need to upgrade graphics card and know what settings to use to obtain high end graphics for game- not obvious to...
