A teeny tiny media streamer
Extremely small ; Low power consumption ; Can handle 720p high definition ; Simple to use
No HDMI cable included ; Limited channels at the moment
The Roku LT is a nicely designed product, but a bit too simple.

We liked the Roku 2 XS, but we didn't absolutely love it. Things have moved on a bit though, and the company offered us the chance to look at its LT model. It's technically a little less hardcore than the 2 XS, but it costs half as much - about £50 -...
Netflix looks stunning, enough video content to keep most people happy, iPlayer, Plex support is brilliant
Only 720p
Why wouldn't you buy the Roku LT? Well, you wouldn't if you don't have internet access and you probably wouldn't bother if you didn't have a TV. But everyone else should at least give it a healthy dose of consideration.

If you have an old TV that you wish had access to catch-up and on-demand streaming service then the Roku LT could be the gadget for you. Priced at an affordable £50, the Roku LT comes in a purple and black design and is so small you can fit it into...
The Roku LT is a great little addition to a non-smart TV. The tiny and affordable box has a wealth of content, although a couple of big names are missing. A lack of full HD is the main omission, so those wanting this feature will have to opt for the...

Last year US firm Roku brought out the Roku 2 XS, adeceptively powerful little box of digital telly tricks allowingyou to watch a broad range of catch-up TV and streaming video forjust under £100. Now it's done it again for half the price.
Easy to set up, good range of internet streaming channels
Lacking some key channels, no wired Ethernet connection
Like its big brother, the Roku LT is a terrific littlemedia streaming box that does everything it should do simply andwithout fuss. You lose out on full HD (but get 720p) and wiredEthernet connection but short of a few big-name channels, it willget you...

There's still no official YouTube channel. Some services, including Netflix, have an outdated interface compared with what's on other streamers. The Apple TV still works better within Apple ecosystem.
The Roku LT is the best budget streaming-media device, easily topping the $35 Chromecast.

Before Google's $35 Chromecast , the Roku LT was the original impossibly priced streamer that seemed too good to be true, offering up tons of streaming content in a tiny box for just $50.

You won't get full 1080p HD output or Angry Birds, but for a mere $50, the Roku LT will hook you up with Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO GO, and dozens of other Web-streaming services. It's the perfect low-cost way to upgrade your years-old home theater.
Inexpensive. Easy to set up. Offers the same content as the more-expensive Roku boxes and other home entertainment devices.
Video resolution maxes at 720p. No Ethernet port or card slot.

Size ; Weight ; Design ; Speed
No advanced network settings ; Does not come with HDMI cable ; Channel Sign Ups
Let’s start out with getting the negatives out of the way then such as mot having advanced networking settings. This was a major let down for me in truth, I have a Sky Broadband service and they don’t (stupidly) allow you to change the DNS settings....
